Mike Hennessy

Mike Hennessy is a social science researcher–practitioner with significant experience working alongside school leaders to tackle the most pressing workforce challenges facing the education sector.

In his role as Chief Research & Insights Officer at PeopleBench, Mike’s focus is on getting timely, high-quality data into the hands of leaders to support evidence-informed workforce decision making. Mike and the PeopleBench team design research and software tools that create real-world impact in schools, including tools to enable the measurement and development of staff resilience and organisational culture, and the development of evidence-informed workforce plans.
