Steve Murley

As a Coach at PeopleBench, Steve Murley is a lifelong educator, coach, and former superintendent with over 30 years of experience leading PK–12 public education systems. He has guided school districts through major strategic initiatives, focusing on equity, access, and academic excellence, and has a proven track record in leadership development, strategic planning, and resilience-based systems. Steve’s experience spans roles as a superintendent, university instructor, and consultant, supporting educational leaders and organizations nationwide. He holds multiple professional coaching certifications and advanced degrees from the University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin–Madison. Steve is passionate about helping leaders thrive and enjoys exploring the outdoors in his free time.
